APEX Pyramid: Program or Workshop ?? Neither !
I have been using the terms Program and Workshop interchangeably on the website and in my communications.
I call it a Program, because it has a structure; a certain number of days and sessions, each lasting for certain period of time. Also, it would cover many concepts and principles, and learning will happen for the participants.
I call it a Workshop, because the sessions are interactive in nature. The learning is not only theoretical, but includes special methods, processes and guided meditation.
However, over and above what is described above, there is another component which is the most important takeaway of this workshop.
The emphasis of this Workshop is always on Experience, so much so that you can call it an Experiential Journey. It is also a very adventurous journey. I would like to illustrate this with an example:
Earlier this year, during a trip to Himalayas, this scenario played out almost on a daily basis. My wife would get in the Ganga to bathe, whereas I stood at the bank, standing knee deep in the freezing water, not having the courage to tread in deeper. She would keep on her commentary about how refreshing the water was, and that I would not feel anything once I was in, but her constant cajoling and coaxing was never enough to persuade me to take the plunge.
After some time with my body getting used to the cold water, and with me feeling increased embarrassment at the amused glances of other bathers, I would gingerly tread in and take my first dip. Oh heavens ! What an experience ! I immediately felt like kicking myself for having waited this long.
But once in water, that experience was mine and mine alone. I felt that my wife’s version of the experience she was having, came nowhere close to describing the ecstatic experience I was having.
There is no way to describe the experience that you would feel during this workshop. That experience would be exclusively yours and even I would not be able to participate in that clarity and the resultant excitement.
The experience of the Workshop would connect you with your intelligence in entirely new ways and with new perspectives.
The amazing clarity with which you would understand your nature, your actions and your life, would open up an entirely new world of possibilities for you. You will get to know aspects of yourself that you will love. And confront aspects that you will hate. But having confronted those parts of yourself, you will be challenged to draw on inner resources and change yourself for the better.
The intelligence has always been there, but the view has been clouded as you have connected with it through the perspectives of traditional conditioning. This Workshop transcends you to an experiential plane, integrating you with Life itself. And all this would happen through “NOT a theoretical learning” but a process which is experiential, pure and undiluted.
There is so much emphasis on Experience that I just call it:
